S. Rubin, M.D., is director of the AIDS
Designated Center and Specialty Care Center. His medical training at
Cornell University Medical College was followed by a residency in
Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. He thereafter completed
the fellowship in Infectious Disease at the Veteran's Administration
Hospital in Manhattan.
Dr. Rubin is a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. His special interest is the care of patients with HIV/AIDS, including running clinical trials with antiviral therapy, lecturing on topics related to therapeutics and the latest data in the field.
Dr. Rubin sits on several New York Hospital Queens committees including the Quality Assurance and Infection Control Committees. He has contributed both to journal literature and textbook chapters in Infectious Diseases and HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Rubin is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is diplomate of the subspecialty of Infectious Diseases.
