Event: New York Hospital Queens will mark the expansion of The Hollis Women’s Center, a women’s healthcare facility. Previously occupying one floor on 189-04 Hillside Avenue, in Hollis, this Center has now doubled in size due to growth in patient visits and community demand. Along with the expansion to a second floor, the center now provides designated, private areas for procedures and sonograms and state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Background: New York Hospital Queens and Herbert Mosberg, M.D., Medical Director, established The Hollis Women’s Center 11 years ago. The Center offers a complete range of obstetrical and gynecological services. Diagnostic and treatment services range from routine care to management of high-risk pregnancies and advanced surgical techniques.
The Center also offers services to women with infertility, menstrual disorders, urinary complications, gynecological cancer and other conditions affecting reproductive health, including nutritional, dietary and medical management for weight loss.
New York Hospital Queens is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
