Medical Oncology
The Division of Medical Oncology has 19 board-certified members. These include
subspecialists in head and neck, breast, lymphoma-leukemia, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and other cancer sites.
Many division physicians have participated in national cancer trials for the latest treatments. As a result, they
have the latest information in national chemotherapeutic research as well as on new investigational agents
available to them and their patients at the Cancer Center.
|
| In addition, division physicians have developed new research
protocols, in collaboration with the Department of Radiation Oncology, for chemotherapeutic studies in lung,
gastric, colorectal, breast, and pancreatic cancers. |
