Medical Oncology

The Division of Medical Oncology has 19 board-certified members. These include subspecialists in head and neck, breast, lymphoma-leukemia, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and other cancer sites. Many division physicians have participated in national cancer trials for the latest treatments. As a result, they have the latest information in national chemotherapeutic research as well as on new investigational agents available to them and their patients at the Cancer Center.

In addition, division physicians have developed new research protocols, in collaboration with the Department of Radiation Oncology, for chemotherapeutic studies in lung, gastric, colorectal, breast, and pancreatic cancers.
