Radiology

The Department of Radiology provides a complete spectrum of imaging modalities at the most advanced levels. The department is a regional referral center for mammographic and sonographic diagnosis of breast disease, with procedures being performed in "The Women's Imaging Suite." The department's mammography service was one of the first in the country accredited by the American College of Radiology. More than 300 mammograms are performed each week on low-dase, certified units. Breast sonography, including aspirations, pre-op needle localization, needle biopsies, and MRI imaging are all provided along with sentinel node identification.
