All members of the Division of Endocrinology are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. The staff include nationally known speakers, authors and editors on the cutting edge of clinical endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes.

Residency Program

The Division of Endocrinology is devoted to teaching clinical endocrinology and metabolism to housestaff, attending physicians and other health professionals. Recent achievements by residents on the endocrinology rotation include abstracts and poster presentation at national meetings and publication in peer-reviewed journals. Particular areas of research include diabetes, lipids, cardiovascular risk reduction and hypertension. Every year, several medical residents choose to continue their training at fellowships in respected institutions in the New York area and around the country.

The endocrinology rotation consists of daily teaching rounds with an attending physician, two clinics a week and an extensive private specialty practice experience.
