FreeMAT Presentation of Holiday Toys to U.S. Army - December 6

EVENT: New York Hospital Queens" FreeMAT (the Freedom Medical Aid Team) will present a mountain of gifts collected from this year"s community toy drive to the U.S. Army-77th Regional Readiness Command.

U.S. Army Brigadier General William Terpeluk will accept the gifts on behalf of the families. City Councilman John Liu also is expected to be in attendance.

              2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

WHO: The Freedom Medical Aid Team (FreeMAT) has been actively involved in collecting donations for the United States Armed Forces personnel since April 2002.

This year, FreeMAT partnered with elected officials, local schools, businesses and organizations to collect gifts. For example, Macy*s donated stuffed teddy bears that filled two ambulances.
