1-What are your hours for eye exams?
Queens Eye Center is open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. General eye exams are performed during all these hours. However, patients with specific needs may be asked to make an appointment during the time when a particular specialist is here to help.
2-Do your doctors perform LASIK procedures?
We do not perform LASIK procedures at the Eye Center. If you are a candidate for LASIK, we will refer you to an experienced board certified LASIK specialist.
1-What insurances do you take?
Queens Eye Center participates with most major insurance companies and government plans. As the list is always being modified, you may wish to verify your coverage by calling the center.

2-Can I get glasses at the Eye Center?
For patients who have certain types of insurance, glasses can be provided as a part of the refraction service. For others, prescriptions will be provided to outside opticians.
3-Are exams for glasses covered?
Each insurance company has a different policy regarding eyeglasses. Most insurance carriers will cover a comprehensive eye examination but many do not actually pay for the glasses if it is deemed that you require glasses.
4-Should I bring my insurance card to my visit?
Always bring your insurance card to your visit, even if it is not your first visit with us. It is also a good idea to find out ahead of time if you will need a referral from your primary care doctor.
5-Do you accept Medicaid patients?
The center will accept certain types of HMO medicaid plans that are affiliated with the main hospital. Please refer to the insurance information on our web site or call for confirmation.
6-Does the Eye Center accept Medicare?
Yes, we accept Medicare.
