Flushing, NY - New York Hospital Queens announces the expansion of its Hollis Women’s Center, led by Medical Director, Herbert Mosberg, MD. The center, previously occupying one floor on 189-04 Hillside Avenue, in Hollis, has doubled its size due to growth and community demand.
With annual patient population and visits nearing 7,500 the Center needed to expand services while keeping pace with its fast-growing community. Along with the expansion to a second floor, the center now provides designated, private areas for procedures and sonograms and state-of-the-art medical equipment.
“To better serve our patients in the surrounding community, we doubled the size of the Hollis Women’s Center with more modern amenities and plenty of room and opportunity for growth,” said Maureen Buglino, R.N., Vice President for Ambulatory Services. “In today’s environment where other healthcare facilities are experiencing financial difficulties, we are very fortunate to expand and enhance our medical access for the residents of Queens.”
Patients can continue to contact the Hollis Women’s Center for appointments at (718) 740-5545. The center provides space for parking and is accessible via several bus routes and local subways.
