The Program’s mission is to prepare trainees for clinical practice, teaching and clinical investigation of problems in pathogenesis, diagnosis, epidemiology and treatment of adult infectious diseases. Trainees are prepared to teach medical students, residents, and practicing physicians the fundamentals of infectious diseases.
There are four fellowship positions, two at the PGY-4 level and two at the PGY-5 level.
Candidates are evaluated by review of their academic performance, letters of recommendation and personal interview by the Program Director. Selection is conducted via the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Applications for the program are accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).
