Flushing, New York - The Department of Pediatrics hosted a holiday party for its young patients, as well as children from the Flushing YMCA, on December 6 at New York Hospital Queens. Children received an autographed photo and team teddy bear from NY Mets catcher, Paul Lo Duca, as well as a free gift from Santa Claus.

“New York Hospital Queens is very appreciative of Mr. Lo Duca’s willingness to spend his time bringing holiday cheer to some of Queens’ young Mets fans,” said Stephen S. Mills, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Every year, the Department of Pediatrics hosts a holiday party for local children. This year, children were invited from the Flushing YMCA and young patients from the hospital’s Pediatric Asthma Center and Lang Children’s Ambulatory Care Center.
