Facilities

The Neuroscience Institute provides patient care in modern and comfortable facilities that employ the finest technology available. Outpatients are served at our facility on 174th Street in Fresh Meadows where a dedicated staff assist physicians evaluating patients with a wide variety of neurological complaints.

Patients in need hospitalization are monitored in our new inpatient wing on the sixth floor of The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens.

This inpatient unit includes special areas for complex testing and treatment of patients with seizures, developmental disabilities, sleep disorders and a host of other problems. (Specific information regarding the technologies employed can be found under “Facilities” in each subspecialty area.

Inpatient stays are made more pleasant and safe by an attentive and talented nursing staff with extensive experience caring for neurologic patients. Caregivers are particularly adept in the management of patients with seizures, developmental disabilities and CNS tumors.
