Dr. Rubin has pioneered and established himself as an expert in the use of capsule endoscopy in the management of celiac disease (an autoimmune reaction to gluten in the small intestine). His subspecialties include the study and treatment of celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as performing wireless capsule and double balloon endoscopy.

Dr. Rubin is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He recently served as an Attending Physician and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia Campus.
