New York Hospital Queens: Home to 108 "Best Doctors" of 2007

Flushing, New York - New York Hospital Queens is proud to announce that 108 physicians on the Hospital’s medical staff were named in the recently released Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors: New York Metro Area (10th Ed, 2007).

Physicians named in the Castle Connolly guide represent the top 10 percent of New York metro-area doctors, as determined by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. They were selected based on peer-review surveys sent to thousands of medical professionals in the metro area.

Survey recipients include randomly selected board-certified physicians, all physicians listed in the previous edition of Castle Connolly’s guidebook and administrative leadership of metro area hospitals. The survey asks recipients to nominate those physicians who, in their best judgment, are the best in their field and related fields, and to whom they would refer their own patients and family members. Factors such as professional qualifications, reputation and bedside manner were taken into account during the nomination process.
