New York Hospital Queens Selects Eric Hao as January Employee of the Month

Flushing, New York - Eric Hao, a housekeeper in the Emergency Department, has been selected as January Employee of the Month. A resident of New Jersey, Mr. Hao joined our hospital in January 2003.

A panel of professional and support staff selected Mr. Hao because in their words, “His work is exemplary in all facets of his assignments. Mr. Hao treats all staff with respect, always has a smile and a ‘good morning’ greeting for everyone. He does a complete job and does not cut corners. Also, he makes use of his day to assist patients or family members in any way that he can.”

Mr. Hao is responsible for the tidiness and upkeep of the Early Treatment of Admitted Patients Unit in the Emergency Department. “I really enjoy my job and try to do my best everyday to make the patients feel at home,” he said.

Mr. Hao is married and has one daughter. He enjoys traveling, swimming and playing ping-pong.
