What: The New York Chapter Arthritis Foundation and Stephen S. Mills, President and Chief Executive Officer of New York Hospital Queens, will host a media kick-off breakfast in preparation for the 15th Annual Queens Leaders’ Award Reception this Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
Three outstanding individuals from Queens will be awarded for helping the chapter support arthritis research, and for bringing a wide range of arthritis educational programs and services to Queens residents living with the disease:
1. Peter Koo, president, Starside Drugs,
2. Jeffrey E. Rosen, M.D., chairman, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, New York Hospital Queens, and
3. Sophia Ganosis, chief of operations, Queens Chamber of Commerce.
