October 28 H1N1 Vaccination Drive Open to the Community

As a participant in a state-wide community access program, New York Hospital Queens will hold a H1N1 (“swine flu”) vaccination drive that is open to the community. Doses of injectable vaccine will be available on a first come, first served basis.

This vaccination drive is part of the 18-site point-of-distribution program sponsored by the not-for-profit Primary Care Development Corporation in collaboration with the NYC Department of Health, and with funding from the NYC Council.

Wednesday, October 28, 2009
2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (end time may end earlier if supply is depleted)

Gujarati Samaj Community Center, 173-15 Horace Harding Expressway,
Fresh Meadows, NY 11365

Press credentials will be required to enter the Gujarati Samaj Community Center on this day.  Interviews and specific photo opportunities may be requested in advance. A photo release will be supplied the day after the event.
If demand for vaccine exceeds the supply, information will be provided on alternate vaccination sites.
