The Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology includes community-based board certified oncologists, some of whom are also board certified in Hematology. In addition, the teaching faculty includes Dr. Barry H. Kaplan, as director of the division. The division is actively involved in clinical research protocols in many areas of cancer studies, including multiple myeloma, leukemia, breast cancer, lung cancer and colorectal cancer.
