All applicants must be graduates of American or Canadian dental schools.
NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens has a widely diverse patient population providing the residents with exposure to a large variety of clinical entities, thereby presenting the residents with unique clinical-pathologic research opportunities. Additionally, the Oral Pathology Laboratory, Inc. has greater than 300,000 archived cases available for study and research projects. Every resident chooses a topic for a 3-year residency thesis. It is expected that the resident will complete the research and produce a publishable paper before completion of the program. Each of our residents has had their papers published in scientific journals. Additional research opportunities are available through the research facility at New York University School of Dentistry.
