Jeffrey
E. Rosen, M.D., is the chairman of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at
New York Hospital Queens. Dr. Rosen completed his undergraduate
education at University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and earned his
medical degree from the Columbia University College of
Physicians and Surgeons in New York City in 1993. He completed his
residency in orthopaedic surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in
1998 and received fellowship training at the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe
Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles in 1999. After almost 10 years
of experience at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, Dr.
Rosen joined New York Hospital Queens as Chairman of the Department of
Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in September 2008.
Dr. Rosen has developed a special interest in the treatment of disorders of the knee and shoulder, as well as arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery. His research studies range from non-surgical treatment for arthritis and degenerative joint disease to MRI imaging for the evaluation sports-related injuries.
