William Wolff, M.D., Chair of Radiology
William Wolff, M.D., achieved his medical degree from the State
University of New York at Buffalo in 1969. After internship at
Meadowbrook Hospital, he served in the United States Air Force as
Captain and Flight Surgeon at the School of Aerospace Medicine and at
the School of Tropical Medicine, (Clark Air Force Base, the
Philippines). He completed his Radiology residency at Nassau County
Medical Center in 1975 and a fellowship in ultrasound and nuclear
medicine at the same institution in 1976.
Dr. Wolff's contributions to medical literature have included work on
interventional radiology, lymphangiography and gastrointestinal imaging.
While active clinically, he remains involved in the radiological
education of medical students and resident physicians from numerous
specialty areas.
