EVENT:
New York Hospital Queens is hosting a multidisciplinary symposium on “Vascular Disease in Primary Care” for primary care physicians, cardiologists, nephrologists and other medical specialists who care for patients who either have, or are at high risk for, vascular disease.
Vascular disease affects the blood vessels outside the heart and brain and can cause a narrowing of vessels that carry blood to the legs, arms, stomach or kidneys. This disease requires a multidisciplinary approach to care.
WHO:
Heart, vascular and surgical experts from New York Hospital Queens developed the program and will be presenting topics such as “A Primer on Aortic Aneurysms,” “A Primer on Peripheral Vascular Disease,” and “Cardiac Disease and Vascular Patients.” Related topics will be presented by colleagues from the following medical institutions:
