The Queens Eye Center was established by New York Hospital Queens in 1993. The mission of the center is to deliver the highest level of care available today.

Staffed by fellowship-trained, board-certified specialists, the Queens Eye Center is poised to serve those with general ophthalmological needs as well as individuals with complex problems demanding the use of today's most sophisticated technology.

All Queens Eye Center physicians hold academic appointments at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Also, our facility serves as the main off-site training center for residents studying ophthalmology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital campus. The center is involved in numerous ophthalmological research projects and nationally-funded clinical trials.

Commitment to the Community

Our devotion to the community is evident in our participation in regular, government-supported glaucoma screenings. We are a major center working in concert with the Friends of the Congressional Glaucoma Caucus Foundation. Functioning under a grant provided by this organization, Queens Eye Center partners with HealthOutreach to provide on-site, free glaucoma screenings throughout the borough.
