Queens is a wonderful, vibrant place to live and to work. One of New York City's five boroughs, it is a largely residential area that contains a variety of subcommunities of varied character and flavor. The borough's entertainment resources are huge, including theaters, parks, restaurants of every description, and clubs.

Good housing is available in the clean, safe neighborhood around NYHQ. Many New York Hospital Queens house staff choose to live within walking distance, but this is by no means required.
