The division of Rheumatology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is committed to providing high-quality care to patients suffering from disorders involving the musculoskeletal, bone and immune systems. Two board certified rheumatologists form the core of the division.

The hospital’s rheumatologists are committed to achieving excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and autoimmune disorders. The division works closely with the departments of Radiology and Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation to identify and treat soft tissue problems related to the musculoskeletal system, sports related soft tissue disorders and diseases in bone health in order to design an individualized treatment program for every patient.

For specific types of arthritis, treatment may include therapeutic injections. Drug therapies include: Remicade, Enbrel, Humira, Orencia, Reclast, Boniva or Forteo.
