Tony Quach, M.D.

Quach HeadshotNew York Hospital Queens welcomes Tony Quach, M.D. to the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. He began his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and received an NIH training grant for research on pancreatic cell transplants.  Dr. Quach was selected as a United States representative to the 2nd China Synergy Program.  

Dr. Quach completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. During his orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Los Angeles California, he was a team physician for the UCLA Bruins football, baseball, soccer, tennis, track and field, golf and swimming team. 

Dr. Quach has a special interest in the treatment of disorders of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, as well as arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery.  He has four published research articles, two papers accepted for publication and three papers submitted for publication and recently had a podium presentation at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. 

Dr. Quach is fluent in the Cantonese, Mandarin and the Chaozhou dialects of Chinese. He grew up in Flushing, Queens.

Dr. Quach has a special interest in the treatment of disorders of the elbow, knee and shoulder, as well as arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery. His research studies range from non-surgical treatment for arthritis and degenerative joint disease to comparative surgical techniques for distal biceps tendon.
