Emergency Medicine Residents

A Message from the Residents...

Perhaps the most important part of any residency program is the individual residents themselves. We have put this section together to try to give you a sense of who we are as a group and as individuals. Some of us are from faraway Hawaii, California, or Texas. Some of us are homegrown New Yorkers who never want to leave.  Some of us are married. Some are not. Some of us like to just hang out with loved ones on days off. At work, there is not a competitive spirit or a rigid hierarchy. Interns sit with seniors in the cafeteria. Senior residents seek out junior residents when there are procedures to do, so they can teach them. There is a great deal of looking out for one another and going the extra step to help out your classmate or teammate in the ED. If this sounds like what you are looking for, then come check out NYP/Queens!
