Breakthrough in Interventional Procedures

The Division of Interventional Radiology continues to grow and provide excellent service aided by the addition of the newest state of the art technology.

The vascular division continues to thrive with arterial work including angioplasty and metallic stents as well as thrombolytic therapy and laser ablation for arterial occlusions with procedures performed for both peripheral as well as renal and carotid arterial disease . Venous work includes dialysis access thrombectomies as well as central venous stenting and tunneled catheter and portacath access.

Non-Vascular Interventional Procedures

The non-vascular division also remains busy with procedures including nephrostomies and ureteral stenting, percutaneous biliary drainages, cholecystostomies and gastrojejunostomy tube placement.
