The 7th Annual NYHQ Pediatric Miniature Golf Classic was held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Spring Rock Golf Center in New Hyde Park.  This special event was host to 180 attendees and raised more than $103,000 for the Department of Pediatrics.  For the second year in a row, we broke records from previous years in both the amount of funds raised and number of guests in attendance. 

All proceeds will support the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and will be used to purchase fetal echocardiography equipment.  Our pediatric cardiology team provides care for a wide range of conditions that affect premature infants, newborns, children, adolescents and young adults.  Our diagnostic and clinical services include fetal echocardiography, inpatient and outpatient cardiac consultations, stress testing and holter monitoring. 

Guests enjoyed a round of miniature golf, entertainment by balloon artist Twistin’ Todd and plenty of kid-friendly treats.  Miniature golfers competed for a Hole-in-One prize and were eligible to win fantastic prizes including a trip to Walt Disney World, a trip to the 2013 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, tickets to the Big Apple Circus, video gaming systems, toys and more.  Thank you to all who supported this fun and festive event that helps us to honor our commitment to serve the children of our community.
