Unprecedented Patient Comfort
In the MRI Suite, our patient’s comfort
is our top priority. The Suite is a quiet and relaxed environment
where patients may listen to recorded music during the procedure.
Highly trained and sensitive staff are available to calm
anxiety that may arise. MRI sometimes uses a contrast injection
which helps visualize areas of interest. MRI is well-suited
for imaging soft tissue (spinal cord, brain, muscle etc.)
and joint (shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, etc.).In general
no preparations are needed for an MRI. A technologist will
bring you to the suite and explain the exam to you. The
patient will lie on a flat table and go into the MRI unit.
Most MRI’s take approximately 30– 45 minutes. |
