Postoperative Instruction Packet
Your surgeon’s office will mail your postoperative packet to your home 7–10 days prior to surgery. It will contain the following:
- Medications: The prescription will not contain refills, as your pain medication will be reassessed at your first postoperative visit.
- Instructions for after your surgery.
- Physical Therapy Prescription: Instructions will be included on when to start your physical therapy. We strongly recommend making your appointment in advance so that your therapy can be started when recommended by your surgeon.
