The board certified orthopaedic surgeons on the orthopaedic spine service bring their in-depth experience to the New York Hospital Queens community, allowing us to bring the most modern and effective approaches to our patients. We work with patients and their families on innovative approaches to diagnosis, treatment, research and patient education to improve patient quality of life.  We treat the full range of spinal conditions in as minimally invasive a fashion as possible. When indicated, spine surgery includes a group of surgical procedures that correct injuries and disease of the spinal cord to relieve pain and restore function for patients. These procedures most often correct conditions of the neck and lower back, and are usually effective in helping patients restore range of motion and fluid movement to the treated area.
