Today, NYP/Queens doesn’t just offer elective pediatric surgical services, but provides pediatric emergency surgical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pediatric surgeons from NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children’s Health have joined the NYP/Queens medical staff to provide our pediatric surgical services.

NYP/Queens’s continuum of pediatric services includes a pediatric inpatient unit, a dedicated pediatric emergency room, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, the longest running, free-standing pediatric asthma program in Queens, The Theresa Lang Children’s Center for primary and specialty outpatient services, and a broad spectrum of pediatric subspecialties from gastroenterology to cardiology.
