Biography:
Currently the Director of Neonatology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, Dr. Srinivasan first joined the neonatal staff at NYP/Queens in 2003. He was appointed Associate Director of the Neonatology in 2006, and has been the Director since 2009.
Since completing his fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Dr. Srinivasan has been a tireless advocate for the sickest infants, by educating students and staff members, and by initiating numerous research projects. Dr. Srinivasan has authored several chapters in text books of "Fetal and Neonatal Medicine" and "Pediatrics". He has published and presented many clinical trials, including presenting at the European Society for Pediatric Research meeting in Newcastle, England. He is a voting member of the Hospital’s Institutional Review Board, organizes and directs the Division’s Annual Neonatal Symposium, and has been involved with organizing both NYP/Queens’s faculty and resident research conferences. He is a Neonatal Resuscitation Program Regional Trainer.
