Alan Davis, MD, M.P.H, FAAP, FCCP, FCCM, Director
Dr. Davis received his MD from University of Louisville School of Medicine. He did his Pediatric Residency at Children's Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University Chicago and his Critical Care Fellowship at Children's Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He comes to us with 30 years of experience.
Renata Carullo, PA-C, Administrative PA
Ms. Carullo is the senior and Administrative PA for the department of Pediatrics at NYHQ. She has been a member of the PICU team since its opening in 2001. Ms. Carullo received her degree in Physician Assistant studies from the State University of New York at Downsate where she also began her career. She has practiced Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care since 2000 and also has experience in family practice. Her certifications include Fundamentals of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, she is an AHA Basic Life Support instructor and member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In addition to her clinical duties, she is involved in PA student education and simulation training for the department of Pediatrics.
Yevgenia Berkovski, PA-C
Ms. Berkovski is a Board Certified and NYS Registered Physician Assistant who joined the PICU team in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science and Physician Assistant Certificate from the College of Staten Island, NY in 1999 and Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY in 2012. She is experienced in taking care of critically ill patients from neonates to young adults with specific interests in management of Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Status Asthmaticus/Respiratory failure. She enjoys playing chess, traveling and attending medical conferences.
Madeleine Oranges, PA-C
Ms. Oranges is a recent addition to the team, joining the PICU staff in 2012. She received her degree in Physician Assistant studies from Hahnemann hospital in Philadelphia. Prior to joining NYHQ she worked in Pediatric Cardiology at at Mount Sinai Hospital. She loves to spend time outdoors and participating in local races, as well as volunteering locally with programs for kids.
