Dr. Chorost is an eminent oncologic surgeon who has extensive experience in the treatment of gastrointestinal and liver cancers. He joins us from Maimonides Medical Center where he was the Associate Program Director in the Department of Surgery and Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology.
He received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey and completed his residency in general surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed his fellowship in surgical oncology at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. In addition to being a board-certified surgeon, he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American College of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Chorost joins us as a member of CRT Associates, the surgical services group at New York Hospital Queens.
