The Department of Radiation Oncology at NYHQ is housed in The Julia
and Ned R. Arnold Center for Radiation Oncology. The Center provides
state-of-the-art radiation therapy in a comfortable and caring environment.
It is one of the newest and largest such facilities in the United
States, greeting patients who are referred from other states and
countries as well as from greater New York itself.
The Arnold Center is under the direction
of Dattatreyudu Nori, MD, FACR, Director of Oncology and Professor
and Chairman of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Nori is one of the world's
foremost authorities in radiation oncology and a pioneer in the
field of modern brachytherapy. He has assembled a team of physicians,
physicists, nurses, technicians and support staff who deliver the
most technically advanced treatment modalities in a comfortable,
non-threatening environment.
