Save the Date!

New York Hospital Queens will host its annual fundraising gala on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the American Museum of Natural History.  Building on the momentum from last year’s gala, proceeds will benefit the continued development of a comprehensive cancer program that integrates all the current diagnostic and treatment modalities into an expanded Cancer Center at NYHQ.

We will present the 2013 Pacesetter Award to Georgia and Dimitrios Kaloidis, who we will honor for their charitable work benefiting educational, religious and health care institutions both in the United States and Greece.  We also honor them for their longstanding leadership and generous support of the Heart & Vascular Center here at New York Hospital Queens.  We are grateful for this partnership, and are proud to present them with the highest honor offered by the hospital.

Highlights from A Spring Night Gala 2012

A Spring Night Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art for over 600 benefactors, hospital leaders and physicians of New York Hospital Queens on May 31, 2012. The ancient Egyptian Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing was the majestic backdrop for Prabha and Kanak Golia as they were conferred the hospital's highest honor, the Pacesetter Award. Nearly $1 million was raised to benefit an expansion of The Cancer Center at NYHQ.
