Dr. Grigorescu completed a Board Certified Fellowship in Urogynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Dr. Grigorescu joined NYHQ from positions as Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Louisiana State University in New Orleans, and an Attending Physician at the Ochnser Clinic Foundation Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology also in that city. Dr. Grigorescu also served as an Attending Physician in the Division of Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California Los Angeles, Dr. Grigorescu received his Doctorate in Medicine from University College Dublin School of Medicine in Dublin, Ireland. He did his Internship in Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas as well as his residency (where he was named Chief Resident) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Grigorescu went on to complete a fellowship in Urogynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health.
Dr. Grigorescu is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the International Continence Society and the International Urogynecological Association. He has numerous clinical presentations and publications to his credit, including such journals as American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Urogynecology Journal, Journal of Pelvic Medicine and Surgery, and Journal of Reproductive Medicine.
