Children to Meet Mr. Met, Receive Gift & Keepsake Photo with Santa Claus

Event: 
The Department of Pediatrics hosts a holiday event for local children from the Flushing YMCA and young patients from the hospital. The children will get a chance to shake hands with Mr. Met, as well as receive a free gift and a keepsake photo with Santa Claus. The hospital cafeteria will be transformed into a holiday wonderland full of games, entertainers and magical delight.

Background: 
The hospital is very excited to welcome Mr. Met, the team mascot for the New York Mets.

Santa Claus (played by Frank Macchio, President of the hospital’s Community Advisory Council) will greet each child and hand out free gifts.
