Flushing, NY, May 11, 2012— Today, the New York Hospital Queens auditorium was filled with hardworking, dedicated nursing staff from the hospital to honor the hospital’s top nurses during National Nurses Week.
Below are the eight honorees:

Yuk-King “Betty” Kong-Lee, R.N., Labor/Delivery Unit, was selected as the 2012 Nurse of the Year at New York Hospital Queens for her exceptional commitment to patient care and her volunteer work educating the Chinese community on childbirth and health issues. For the past seven years she has taught childbirth preparation classes in Mandarin and Cantonese at the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades Mission Center in Flushing.
