Delivery and Mother Baby services.
Members of the press are invited to take photos and interview members of
hospital administration, HealthGrades Representative Brody Westcot, as

56-45 Main Street
Flushing, N.Y.
FYI:
New York Hospital Queens received the highest two rankings by
HealthGrades (5-star = top 15%, and Maternity Care Excellence Award =
top 10%) based on a number of measurements, including: incidence of
maternal complications for single live vaginal and Cesarean deliveries;
overall volume and volume of low birth weight deliveries; and
risk-adjusted infant mortality rates for single live deliveries.
HealthGrades provides ratings on nearly 5,000 U.S. hospitals and
profiles on more than 800,000 physicians nationwide and evaluates
hospital care using records obtained by the Centers of Medicare and
Medicaid Services.
New York Hospital Queens is proud to be the recipient of the Maternity
Care Excellence Award for five years in a row (2007/2008-2010/2011, 2011
and 2012). According to a research study conducted by HealthGrades,
findings showed that women who give birth at 5-star rated hospitals
experience 62 percent fewer complications than at hospitals rated 1-star
(bottom 15%).
New York Hospital Queens is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian
Healthcare System and an affiliate of the Weill Medical College of
